[i havent written in here in over a year. i dont know how this happened- it wasnt a conscious decision.]

its the new year and as always i need to set a few goals for myself. and as always i dont have much faith in how well i keep them.

here they are:
1. i will respond to messages, calls, and gifts more promptly. i tend to put of a lot of things for too long.
2. i will dole out more hugs.
3. i will suck up to my mother.
4. i will cut down on smoking.
5. i will utilize club scad [fyi its a gym].
6. i will NOT go walking around the city at night without at least one other person. ive been pushing my luck with that one.
7. i will SUCCESSFULLY host a social event. that means more than two people have to show up.
8. i will ace at least my photography class.
9. i will not see sleeping in until 2pm on weekends as routine. i miss out on two meals that way.

and 10. i will learn the art of putting aside passionate feelings and replace them with being level-headed and devoted to my work. i will not get carried away with fantasies and wishful thinking. instead i will look at life through realistic, if not reasonably cynical eyes.
